I've often joked that BMW provides a manual with every new car on how to drive like an asshole.

BMWs first, Audis catching up, Lexuses etc.

There was a stupid left turn lane where I worked, they put in two left turn lanes but then the right one has to merge back in IMMEDIATELY after the turn. Stupid, although I guess to hold enough traffic so you don't block the straight ahead traffic or something.

So, most people actually cooperate by getting into the left of the two lanes when say there are half a dozen cars, light changes and the traffic flows smoothly. Not Lexus or Mercedes or Audi or BMW, they'll immediately drive to the front on the right lane. I called that the Lexus lane. Yeah, it's perfectly legal but you can figure out the folks who will fuck you over once you're at work.
